Summer vacation, ahhhhh, sweet summer. Time for leisurely morning coffee and kid snuggles after breakfast.
Today after breakfast though, we got crafty. The kids had found some Fimo clay in my craft hoard, that they had been dying to use. Today was the day!
Armed with Pinterest ideas and a book of clay creations, we molded, and rolled and smushed.
With 4 colours at our finger tips, we were somewhat limited to the pink colour family, but we soldiered on.
When you are finished creating, you bake your minis cultures in a pre-heated 250* oven for 25 minutes. Let cool, and then display your cute creations!!!
From Left to right : A Bat, A Turtle, A Bunny, A Pig...
If you want, you can paint the baked figures with a bit of clear nail polish to make them shiny!
